Now anyone who knows anything about Mr WK knows he loves to party. And he likes to sing about his love to party. So his songs feature the word 'Party' alot. I was on facebook and in the ad bar at the side I spotted a very unusual item; 24 The Fragrance.




Now I've played 24 The Video game, read 24 The Book, watched 24 The TV series, worn 24 The T-shirt, even attempted the disastrous 24 The Boardgame...but to smell like Jack Bauer!? I thought it was a joke but some quick Intel from CTU revealed this is not an elaborate hoax but in fact a credible threat to scent!

If it's going to smell like JB then your limited to blood, sweat and semen...and Lady Gaga already has that planned for her own perfume.

Hopefully its one of those fragrances that last 24 hours...

With the prequel to classic John Carpenter horror The Thing (1982) being released this week, also called The Thing (2011), I was slightly alarmed to read this story on BBC online;



The team plans to use a hot water drill to break through the ice to this underwater lake, one of many in Antarctica, to find what sort of life has been trapped and isolated from the outside world for thousands of years...

Great! They expect to find virus; that have never been encountered before. Have they not learned anything from movies? They could find some twisted alien. Or what if they find a frozen mega shark fighting a giant octopus and end up releasing that whole mess onto the world?!

When will people learn! Let's just hope they have Kurt Russell on stand-by...or Debbie Gibson for the latter.
