The lyrics seems to speak out to you and you feel you can relate to something that maybe you never noticed.
So I've had this idea to each week pick a song that either stood out or reflects the way I feel at that time.
At the end of 2011 I'll have a playlist of 52 songs that sums up the year, the highs and lows, the good times, the bad times, the contradictions, the places I go, the people I meet. It will be an audio narrative.
I can sit there on Jan 1st 2012 and just listen to the whole thing all the way through; With a hangover in Canada and hopefully not in a kids play area.
The first three songs of the year are posted below and I'll try to update weekly from now on!
1st January to the 7th January
Scouting for Girls - This Ain't A Love Song
Sad start to 2011
